Moodbeam launches new free workplace solution

Supporting businesses and their employees is at the heart of everything we seek to  achieve as an organisation in 2021. Throughout the pandemic, we have seen a need for  radical and fast adaption and transformation within the business world – which is still  ongoing. Born out of this and feedback from our existing users, we are really pleased to be  launching our brand-new, no cost direct entry app and dashboard solution.

The new solution reflects the evolution of Moodbeam’s unique approach to understanding  and appreciating how events at work make people, teams and groups feel via real-time  feedback. It will allow users to directly input their mood entry at any given time during the  working day, providing the employees with a voice within their organisation. It will act as a  catalyst for conversations within teams and is bringing new insight to managers who want  to know how to stay in touch with teams in this ever-changing world of work.

As with our wearable formats, the user will press a virtual yellow button to input a happy  report, and a blue button for an unhappy one. This data is then tracked with the new,  streamlined dashboard to allow visualisation of patterns and is proving a positive  conversation starter among organisations keen to keep people and teams happy.

Moodbeam is all about gaining a true understanding of situations, taking successes and  failures forward as learnings in a manner that brings teams together to create the changes  when and where they are needed the most. Businesses can onboard themselves via a  simple clickthrough from the Moodbeam website. This takes them quickly through the sign up process and directs users to the dashboard. Employees are then sent an invite to join  the team and can be up and running within minutes.

“It’s more important than ever that we find new ways of giving staff members a voice and a  method of providing real-time feedback in a manner that doesn’t rely on being in the same  room. While many businesses are beginning to make a return to the office now restrictions  have lifted, most are doing so through a hybrid approach, which is where technology can –  and must – help with keeping everyone connected.”

We have also adapted our physical device too. The original wearable wristband will remain  available and will largely be aimed at our consumer customers, while our new lanyard –  The Pod – has been developed for business use, which will include access to the app.

This lanyard approach keeps our unique, wearable element in a format that reflects what  our existing customers say suits a business environment the most. The wearable device is  also available as an add-on for those users who cannot access their phone during the  working day.

The new Moodbeam app is available to download for Apple and Android. Businesses will  need to sign up via our website, which will allow QR code invites to be issued to everyone  using the app.
