On Monday, five C4DI residents take part in the IoD East Yorkshire Digital & Tech Showcase to reveal some of the incredible projects taking place in the region.
Yorkshire IoD is an organisation committed to supporting its 1,300 members through director development and the lobbying of key decision makers in the country. Its purpose is to engage with its growing membership, guiding, inspiring and supporting their life in business.

Held in conjunction with Barclays Eagle Labs, the event gives attendees the opportunity to meet, connect and share ideas over drinks with peers, colleges and a few directors. Below is a summary of the speakers.

Jonathan has spent the last 25 years creating and managing several businesses, including the high-street chain Gadget Shop and leading gift business RED5 - both of which were identified in the top 100 fastest-growing private companies in Britain.
Now, his focus is on health-tech startup Moodbeam, which has developed the world's first wearable that logs moods.

Lucy Blackley, started her career in the fashion industry and is a former garment technologist and product development lead.
Over the past decade, she has worked with several household names, including Arcadia Group, Very and Next. Most recently, she has developed her own project lifecycle management (PLM) software to support any company who creates products through the whole development process, from the initial concepts right through to production.
This year, Lucy has been shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Digital Entrepreneur Awards, nominated for Barclays Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a headline speaker at the inaugural Tech Expo Humber. Bombyx was crowned Tech Startup of the Year at this year's Hull and Humber Tech Awards.

Previously C4DI's Community Manager, Dileepa is now the Managing Director of Kinesis, developing technologies that are used within the NHS to support clinical decision making and improve the quality of care for patients.
Dileepa has a deep understanding of the region's flourishing tech and digital companies and is passionate about facilitating genuine connections between people in the industry.
Darren Crombie, Director of Upstream Health.

Upstream Health provides innovative technologies for health and social care teams.
The growing team is on a mission to enable health and social care teams to support a shift to upstream preventative care.
Currently, Darren and the team are working on an IoT and AI-powered home support solution to help the elderly stay well for longer in their own homes and manage their care.
Paul Mandalia, Founder of Good2learn.
Paul Mandalia, Founder of Good2Learn
Created and founded by Paul, Good2Learn is a is an education startup and a subscription-based service with short, bite-sized video lessons that have been written and designed by teachers and education specialists.
The platform empowers children to learn at their own pace, in their own space and can be used on any device - from a desktop computer to smartphones and tablets. This means lessons can be viewed and exercises completed in the classroom or at home.
